In support of the sustainability of primary care within the NHS, we are an accredited training practice for doctors specialising in general practice. The GP registrars are qualified doctors with medical experience, their time at the practice is spent focusing on the role of general practitioner. These doctors will be working at the practice from time to time and are available for consultations in the same way as other doctors at the practice.
The practice also undertakes the training of medical students who intend to become healthcare professionals. Observing consultations is a vital part to their education, patients will always be informed if a student will be present during their consultation and if you are not comfortable you will be able to see a GP/Nurse alone.
