If you have a muscle or joint problem why not book an appointment with our community based physiotherapy team rather than with a doctor. Our reception team can make these arrangements for you.
Our team of experienced physiotherapists are available daily for telephone triage, or face to face appointments, and advise on all muscular and joint problems in adults. They can organise referrals, x-rays, scans and joint injection appointments.
If you have an immediate issue for an on the day appointment, or for ongoing or more chronic conditions, you may need to arrange an appointment with your GP.
You can now also visit Cardiff and Vale University Health Board’s new digital rehabilitation resource with information you can access to help keep yourself well. https://keepingmewell.com/what-is-physiotherapy/self-referral/
Patients can now self refer directly into the Hospital based Physiotherapy Service.
Longer term physiotherapy is provided by specially trained and regulated practitioners. Completing the self referral form below can help speed up the appointment process.
Please ensure any completed forms are either handed into the surgery, or emailed directly to the practice. It is important to ensure you include as much information about your issue as possible, to best direct your referral.
