Changes to our Appointments system

The Welsh Government have requested that all GP Practices move towards a more blended form of appointments, offering on the day access, booked face to face or telephone appointments and some form of online access such as My Health Online. 

As of this week, the complete triage system that we were running through COVID has now stopped.

Pre-bookable face to face and pre-bookable telephone appointments are available to book from this week. Due to the change over, these are currently being taken very quickly but appointments are available to book up to four weeks in advance. This can be done via the reception desk, via My Health Online, via email or via the telephone. You will be able to choose between face to face or telephone appointment with a GP of your choice. Depending on availability, you may be able to book an appointment earlier if you ask for any doctor. 

We also run an emergency clinic each day for 'On the day Emergencies' only. The care navigators that take your calls will ask you what the emergency is. Depending on this information, you may be redirected to another service or put down for a call with the emergency doctor. You cannot choose who will call you back, it will be the emergency doctor for that day. Please call from 08.00 each morning if you think you need an emergency appointment.
