Opening hours: Open 7 days a week 08:00 - 21:00. The nurse-led Minor Injury Unit (MIU) treats a range of minor injuries in adults and children over the age of one, e.g. cuts, bone fractures, minor burns. It does not treat illnesses, e.g. coughs, rashes, infections. IMPORTANT: The MIU has no doctors and CANNOT treat anyone who is seriously ill, e.g. heart attack or stroke, or who is seriously injured. You MUST attend an A&E in these circumstances or your care will be delayed with potentially serious consequences, including death.
